We, Cathedral choir has finished Easter Vigil service tonight.
And also we sang Musical Devotion; John Stainer/The Crucifixion with solo and choir with organ on 17 April in Holy Week. “God so loved the world” is included in this music. It’s beautiful and my favourite.

復活祭のお祝いでお花がたくさんの大聖堂は、とってもきれい。今夜は Easter Vigil 特別礼拝で歌ったところです。また、4月17日にはイギリスの作曲家 John Stainer キリストの受難のオラトリオを、キリスト、弟子たちをソロ、合唱、オルガンで演奏しました。この中に含まれているGod so loved the world はとてもきれいな曲で、私も大好きです。

ドイツ・グラモフォン・レコード創立120周年おめでとう!

Our highly respected Maestro Seiji Ozawa and violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, Diego Matheuz and Saito Kinen Orchestra hold a special concert to celebrate 120 anniversary of Deutsche Grammophon at Suntory Hall in Tokyo on 5 December 2018!! Unfortunately I could not come to the concert, but CD has just been released on 1 January 2019.

我らが尊敬するマエストロ小澤征爾さんとバイオリニストのアンネ＝ゾフィー・ムッターさん、指揮者のデイエゴ・マテウスさんと、サイトウ・キネン・オーケストラが、この特別なお祝いのために2018年12月5日、東京サントリーホールに集結しました。私もとっても行きたかったのですが、残念。。でも2019年1月1日にCDがリリースされました。

Merry Christmas!
We, St. John’s Cathedral Choir sang Missa Aedis Christi/Howard Goodall with orchestra at Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, with special guest from England; the Choir of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. Fantastic angel voice with us! Howard’s Missa is a very stylish and beautiful music. I and Piano Fairy enjoyed it very much.

クリスマスの時期、St. John’s Cathedral 聖歌隊は、御勤めでとても忙しくなります。クリスマス・イブは恒例の真夜中のミサがあり、RTHKでも放送されます。今年はイギリスの作曲家Howard Goodallのおしゃれなミサ曲をオーケストラと歌いました。イギリスから天使の歌声のゲストが！ケンブリッジ大学のコーパス・クリスティ・カレッジ聖歌隊が加わりました。
