We, St. John’s Cathedral Choir sang Mass Op.130/Joseh Jongen(1873-1953) with brass ensemble at Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, with special guest from England; Paul Phoenix former Kings Singers!!! This piece is fantastic harmony and very romantic which is like a glorious light from Muse!
St. John’s Cathedral では、クリスマス・イブに毎年恒例の真夜中のミサが行われ、Cathedral Choir 聖歌隊も大忙しです。今年は、ロマン派ベルギーの作曲家ジョゼフ・ジョンゲンのミサ曲 をブラスアンサンブルと歌いました。なんと、スペシャルゲストがイギリスから。元キングス・シンガースのメンバー、ポール・フェニックスさんがテナーソロ。この曲は、ハーモニーが素晴らしく、まるでミューズの神から光の贈り物のようで、とってもロマンティック。楽しみました。
