Book review “Forest of Sheep and Steel”
News!! A best-selling book, ” Forest of Sheep and Steel,” will be made into a film.
Shooting on the film is started now and will be released in 2018. Most of the location of film is taking in Hokkaido northern part of Japan where original story mentioned. According to the news, main actor is trying to study tuning now!! Oh dear…xxx I hope they could make English subtitled version for overseas.
イギリスのピアノ調律技術者協会 ニュースレター 2016年12月号 に日本で話題の本、宮下奈都（著） 「羊と鋼の森 」の紹介記事が掲載されました。2016年本屋大賞受賞、ピアノ調律技術者が主人公の あの話題の本をイギリスの仲間に紹介させていただきました。
なんと、映画化されることに。出演：山崎賢人、三浦友和 メインアクターは現在、調律の練習を始めたそうです（まあ大変！がんばれー） 2018年に全国東宝系で公開。きれいな北海道の風景も楽しみです。
Piano Fairy コメント；
日々の取り組みの中でのいろいろな気づき、葛藤、自分は何を捜し求めているのか。いい音とは、自分が捜し求めている音とは何なのか。すてきな森の音。
私たちはみなこの地球で人生（Love）の学びを行なっています。この物語は、ピアノ調律技術者の様を描いていますが、主人公が成長していく過程は私たちピアノ調律技術者に限らず、すべての人に共通するところが多く、本当に自分が望んでいるものは何なのか、人生の歩みを模索している私たちに、深く語りかけているように思います。だからこれだけの人に読まれているのではないでしょうか。とってもお勧めです。

My article appeared in Japanese town magazine PPW.
香港・広州のタウン誌 ぽけっとページウィークリーに記事が掲載されました。
PPW is a well known Japanese community in Hong Kong and Guangzhou area with a circulation of around 30,000. The article includes my biography covering how I dealt with life difficulties/challenges I encountered. Also how much I enjoy my work as a piano technician, tuning gracious musical instruments “the piano” to create beautiful sounds.
I look forward to seeing you and your piano again!
