Wonderful little town St Albans, Hertfordshire　すてきな小さな町セント・オールバン

After the convention, I and Piano Fairy visited St Albans, Hertfordshire. This is wonderful place!

コンベンションの後、ピアノフェアリーと一緒にセント・オールバンに滞在しました。ここはすてきな小さな町です。

St Albans Cathedral is magnificent cathedral that is home to the Shrine of St Alban and, the longest nave in England.

セント・オールバン大聖堂は、イギリスの記録に残る最古のキリスト教遺産の1つで、名前の如く、イギリス最初の聖人Stであるオールバンを祀っています。大聖堂の長さはイギリスで最も長いそうです。

Cathedral choir is fantastic!
I attended Choral Matins and Evensong to enjoy beautiful angel voice.

大聖堂の聖歌隊は有名です。聖歌隊がメインの礼拝に参加して、天使の歌声を堪能しました。

Organ; Harrison & Harrison

There was St Albans International Organ Festival. I enjoyed the organ concert of Philip Scriven at the Cathedral. Coming July, 30th International Organ Competitions and Festival will be held in St Albans. If you have a time, it’s good chance to visit the festival. I would like to go again with Piano Fairy!

セント・オールバンでは2年ごとに国際オルガンコンクール・フェスティバルが開かれ、今年の7月8日－20日までの間、オルガンはもちろんのこと、オケや聖歌隊も加わって色々なコンサートが開かれます。前際として、5月まで毎月有名なオルガニストによるオルガンコンサートがありました。この日、ちょうど Philip Scriven のコンサートがあり、ピアノフェアリーと楽しみました。
